My Studio Edge

About

Built in Milwaukee, for Milwaukee.

We make websites for the businesses we already eat at, get our hair cut at, and drink at on Friday night.

The short version

Why this shop exists.

I spent years building software for big tech companies. Earlier this year, my job ended. I moved back to Milwaukee, looked around, and noticed two things at once:

One — half the shops I love don't have websites, or their sites haven't been touched since 2015. Two — the agencies quoting them want $8,000 up front and three months. That's not a realistic deal for a tavern owner with a five-person staff.

So My Studio Edge is the smallest, most honest version of this I can offer: tight scope, fixed prices, seven days, local relationships. You can text me about a hours change and it gets fixed before you finish your coffee.

That's the whole pitch. If it sounds reasonable, let's talk.

How we work

Four things we won't budge on.

Local, not "near you"

We live and work in Milwaukee. We can meet at your shop, drop in for a coffee, or fix something same-day. That changes the whole relationship.

Plain English

No 'omnichannel synergies'. No portal logins. If we use a tech word, we explain it. If we can't explain it in a sentence, we don't use it.

Honest math

If a new site won't pay for itself, we'll say so. We'd rather pass on a project than build something that quietly bills $79/mo and doesn't earn its keep.

You own the work

If you ever fire us, we hand off the site files, the domain, and every login. No hostage situations, no goodbye fee.

Bonus, not the pitch

About the CityLive bonus listing.

CityLive is a Milwaukee discovery app we're launching in the next 1–3 months. Think of it like a curated map of local spots, with hours, photos, and a quick "what's good right now" feed.

When it goes live, every My Studio Edge client gets a free featured listing inside the app — at no extra cost, for at least the first year.

We're not selling you a website to get you into the app. We're selling you a website, full stop. The app is a thank-you for being one of the first shops to work with us. If the app flops, your website still works.
